Chakravarti Samrat Vikramaditya is the greatest king in the history of Bharat (India) in Kaliyug. In Puran there has been mentioned a couple of Samrat like Raja Harichandra, Mandhata, Yudhishthira, Jarasandha many more. Bharat name came from Chakravatri Bharat.

Vikramaditya born in Kshatriya family ancestors was king, and was of the lineage of chandra. He was a devotee of Kali. He was king of Ujjain and still local people praise him as a great king. During his rule getting justice, Ujjain was known as a rich city and businessmen were very wealthy. King Vikramaditya faced a challenge in life; he was a great warrior and he beat Shakas from there Vikram Samvat calendar began. There are 25 stories in which Betal narrates the entire stories, and finally he was asking questions to him, and Vikram was giving the correct answer every time, even though he knew that if he gave the correct answer, Betal would fly, and again I would have to run to catch him, but Vikram was honest and satyawadi; he never lied, so he was giving the correct answer, and Betal flew from his shoulder, and Vikram caught him again. He answered 24 questions, but for the last question, he couldn't give the answer, so Betal did not fly. He understands that Vikarm is an honest, great king and warrior.
