The Ukraine-Russia War has entered another intense phase after Ukraine launched more than 1,000 drones toward Russian territory. Hundreds of the drones were aimed at Moscow, where an oil refinery and residential buildings were damaged.
The attack happened on September 20, and, according to Russian authorities, it was the biggest drone attack on Moscow to date. It occurred during the last day of Russia's parliamentary elections.

Ukraine Launches Large Drone Attack on Russia
According to claims made by the Russian government, over 1,000 Ukrainian drones were found throughout Russia and the regions occupied by Russia. Russia's Defence Ministry said its forces had intercepted or destroyed 1,110 drones.
Hundreds of drones were ordered to fly to Moscow and its vicinity. This action led to the destruction of the Moscow Oil Refinery, along with residential buildings as well.
At least two people were reportedly killed and some 20 injured during the attack in the Moscow area, but later estimates of deaths from Russian officials placed the figure at three.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, president of Ukraine, confirmed that the strikes involved hitting an oil refinery as well as other sites associated with the energy sector of Russia. Ukraine has been focusing its attacks on oil and logistics sites in Russia during the ongoing war.
